SKINNY is a new way to make ads: A creative agency and production company in one.
It is a reaction to the spin, egos, cumbersome layers, unnecessary overheads and bloated
fees rife in our industry today: A decision to cut the fat and get on with the very
enjoyable job of making great ads.
We don't cost as much as traditional creative agencies and production companies, the
standard of our creative and production is higher and the way we work, with clients given
direct access to their Creative Director, is quicker, more efficient and more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a creative agency, a production company or, like most of the brands
we work with, someone who can take care of it all, have a look through our work and
get in touch if you want to talk.
SKINNY is as many people that is needed for a particular job, and no more
- whether that be a one-off project or an ongoing relationship.
We don't have big offices or an army of permanent staff for our clients to bankroll;
we work with a host of talented freelancers as and when required - strategists, creatives,
designers, digital producers, social media bods - all people we know, like and trust.
But first and foremost all our clients work with, and have direct access to,
SKINNY's two founding partners, Tony Durston and Nicki Casey.
Tony is a former Creative Director at CHI & Partners and Leo Burnett's London where he was
responsible for the Argos, British Gas, RBS, Coutts, GSK, Miller Genuine Draft, Littlewoods
and NHS accounts and was the creative brain behind the Argos Aliens - the UK's most
recognised campaign for an unprecedented two years running.
Nicki is probably the best-known producer in the North. She has run TV departments in creative
agencies, exec-produced for established production companies and ran her own very successful
production company in Manchester. In her time she has produced ads for the likes of
PlayStation, Greggs, Subaru and Aldi.
